Carbonara (Italian: [karboˈnaːra]) is an Italian pasta dish from Rome made with eggs, hard cheese (usually Pecorino Romano), bacon (guanciale or pancetta), and black pepper. Spaghetti is the usual pasta; however, fettuccine, rigatoni, linguine, or bucatini can also be used. The dish was created in the middle of the 20th century. - Wikipedia
INGREDIENTS
· 500g spaghetti pasta
· 500g ground beef
· 2 cups all purpose cream
· 1 can cream of mushroom
· 1 can sliced mushroom
· ½ cup grated cheese
· 1 medium size onion, minced (optional)
· 4 cloves garlic, minced
· 2 tbsp butter
· Ground black pepper
· Salt to taste
PROCEDURE
1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
2. While pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan saute garlic and onion in butter.
3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.
4. Add in ground beef and cook for 10 minutes.
5. Then, add all purpose cream and cream of mushroom (this will make our carbonara sauce more tastier) simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Add grated cheese and cook for a minute.
7. Season with salt and ground black pepper according to taste.
8. Arrange pasta on a plate and pour carbonara sauce from top as preferred.
9. Add grated cheese on top.
10. Serve and Enjoy!
